Moving to a larger premises allowed us to achieve our dream of being able to offer a wider range of services both in hair and beauty, whilst doing so in a comfortable and friendly environment. As a family-run business, we want you to feel part of our family when you visit the salon in the hope that when you leave you feel as though you've been among friends.

We are a dedicated team of hair stylists and beauticians who pride ourselves on offering the very best creative services and bespoke styles to ensure you leave feeling as beautiful as you are.
The Priory family​

We are Jessie and Sam, the owners of The Priory. It has been a family-owned business since our mum Jill first opened JJ’s Hair Design (Church Street) in 1993. We took over the running of JJ's in 2015 and as we expanded our business by introducing beauty services we soon outgrew the salon, so finally, in 2017 we took on our biggest challenge yet by moving out of town to a bigger premises and rebranded as The Priory.

We strive to ensure our team continually develop their craft by attending further skill-based learning and receiving in-house product training. We do this because of a love for the industry and we pride ourselves on being able to share our passion with our clients.
